British made modular staging system offers value and versatility for event organisers, venue managers and exhibitors

A staging system created by renowned industrial designer Andrew Hill is now available from Harlow-based manufacturers Gratnells which meets a broad range of applications, from simple product display and personal presentations up to major stage sets and tiered audience assemblies.

Gratnells STAGE features a powder coated steel deck framework with high-quality birch wood deck panels, fascias and steps.  The system is quick to assemble and demount, requiring no tools or training.  Parts fit snugly together without rattles or wobbles and the entire system, created to an original design, conforms to relevant EU and BS standards.

Gratnells STAGE provides a medium for everyone connected to the events, display and exhibitions market, from exhibitors to event organisers and venue managers, with a good-looking, robust and versatile system.

On exhibition stands it can be used for product samples or displays, event organisers can carry a full winners’ rostrum or presentation podium in the boot of a car, while for large scale arenas the system is variable in shape, size and elevation, with tiering and banking for audience sight lines built into the options.  The system will support up to 7.5Kn/m – that’s sufficient to take a grand piano – and the decking has a non-slip surface.  Back and side safety rail assemblies are available as standard, while there is optional matt black or carpeted alternative panels available on request, along with classic black fabric valances.

A free assembly guide can be downloaded for first-time users which includes the simple processes for flat stages or tiered blocks, and the fitting of items such as deck bars and steps.
